Babz and Karaoke

Hey Chicos!

Just wanted to update y'all! I really hate when I say y'all...I don't know how or when I started saying it, but it has been bothering me lately. I'm not from the South so it is quite disturbing...ANYWAY...

I have been meaning to get my mom back on my channel for some time now and we finally ended up filming something. I called her up while she was at work and was just like "WE ARE FILMING WHEN YOU GET HOME". She responded "OK! my hair looks good today". Now you all know where I get it from. This is what we ended up discussing...


Also, last Saturday I ended up going to NYC to meet up with some other youtubers for the day. At first I met up with @petrilude while we waited for @thewillofdc and @soundlyawake to get their shit together and meet us at Bubba's for lunch. I love that we went to that restaurant and 3 out of 4 of us don't even like/eat seafood. I just got a burger or at Chile's they call it the OLDTIMER...ew...and then they ask you to "top" the oldtimer ... no thanks... I digress...we wanted to sit in @loserluigi's section so we asked for "yeison", because that is his name. I guess the host thought we said "jason" so we end up getting sent to the back of the restaurant with some guy named Jason. It was really awkward because the guy probably heard that we "requested" to be in his section. Oh well...
After that, Nick and Will had to pick up some pottery somewhere far away so I tagged along with Josh on his search for Ben Nye and 50% off jewelry. We first went to this place called Alcone. It was a little shop with 3 women gossiping behind the counter. Then, in walks (slides) an old woman with a walker. Fine, fine...but what's giving me a red rump is that she was wearing more eye makeup than @juicystar07 and @allthatglitters21 put together. Turns out the old woman was just picking up some makeup wipes...ho should've at least purchased the large pack...
After that we hit up a bunch of jewelry shops that promoted their 50% sale (today only) on their windows and most of their interior walls. Turns out that they have that sale every day of the year. They have a decal of the sale on the window so it's not like they can take it down when the sale is over the "next day".
At this point my phone battery was about 60% depleted and it was only around 5 pm. I somehow had to make that last til 4 am so we decided to go to Starbucks and charge it up. We stuck around there for a while and then met up with some other peeps for karaoke!
We ended up going to this place called Duet where you reserve a private room and have your own little karaoke party. To see who ended up going check out the footage I compiled here...


Overall the day was pretty epic...except that I had to leave NYC at 1 am so that I could get home by 5 am so that I could work the same day...(which ended up being a disaster because it was Valentine's Day)

So that's about all the excitement I have had in the past week...

Conker's Bad Fur Day

OMG! so @petrilude posted a twitpic of this game for N64 called Conker's Bad Fur Day...now if you never played this game...let me just tell you, it is REDIC! I can't even explain...it was sexual, gross, hilarious and just EFFED up. I don't exactly remember the premise of the game, but do recall this one task where you had to collect these "tickly bees" to tickle this shy sunflower who had a chest bigger than busty heart. By doing so, you would be able to open her up so that this king bee guy could pollinate her...if you want the full gameplay...watch this video...


This was just one totally crazy thing that the game made you do...there was also a level that was made out of poo...and one that resembled a scene from THE MATRIX. It was actually really fun and I recommend it as a decent multiplayer game for a party or something! It will bring many LOLs...

Youtube Gathering

SO as you probably know, I went to the youtube gathering in New York City yesterday. Since I didn't take much footage from the event, I stalked other youtubers' videos and found these 2 that I was part of! check them out!





I met a bunch of new people who I'd love to see again and even collaborate with in the future. It really refreshed my LOVE for creating content on the site. (hopefully I will post more, but school is still being a raging BITCH lol)

WOOT! you know what happens when I have no homework at all?! I POST an obnoxious number of videos! lol

Did you know it snowed today where I live?...cuz it did...and it's October...it never snows in October...everyone around campus was shocked and was not very happy with it...I just made a quick video while I was wandering around campus today...If you've never seen snow before then this video might be interesting...lol



The other video I posted was for impulsEtc!! I know Kristen JUST posted like 1.5 days ago, but I am busy all weekend with work so this was the best time for me to post!! The video is also a response to ApplesandMustard's NEVER EVER TAG GAME...there is a lot of content in this video so beware!



Oh and just a BTW...I am working on redesigning all my sites!! (i.e. new profile pictures and layouts)...not sure when I will be done but hopefully soon!!!!

New Channel...or somethin...

NO...I did not make ANOTHER youtube channel.......yet.................but rather I am here to discuss my new channel/series of vids I am obsessed with. YOUTUBE FAIL

What's FRESH everyone!?!? I am in desperate need of chanel...I mean...inspiration. I feel bad that I have not been very active in making "interesting" videos lately. But if you are a youtuber you know that it's sooo difficult to come up with ideas sometimes. Then suddenly one day something will happen or you'll see a commercial and it'll give you this AMAZING idea. I just haven't had that recently. I think my mind is more active during the school year as a way to procrastinate, so during the summer it's almost an inconvenience to think of ideas. Now don't get me WRONG, i LOVE making videos...i do NOT like coming up with ideas. I have been meaning to make this one video for the longest time...no joke I came up with the idea back in April...it just hasn't happened yet...

Does anyone have advice on what to do when you can't think of ideas?! Do you just FORCE yourself to sit down and think of something, or do you just give up? lol

Oh...and I'm kind of getting bored with the youtubers I am watching...if anyone knows of any lesser known people thatm ake good videos let me know!!!!

ps. my summer class is a bitch...it's so anoying to drive 30 mins to go to a 3.25 hour class 2 times a week. The only thing I look forward to is Starbucks afterward...

So I thought I should grace everyone with another SPLASH of mallow610...outside of the bedroom........anyway...

I have been obsessed with these 2 videos lately. They are CLASSICS in my book. The first one is a short clip from a horror movie but it is insanely hilarious.

I can't help but notice that the lighting in that room is coming from like 4 different angles and there is a venetian blind shadow on all the walls...the cinematography is so divine... And now next time your friend gets a text just say "i see you have a new message..." with a huge awkward silence after it and see if they don't think you're insane. Oh... and ya... 2 FUCKING YEARS...

When I grow up I want to be just like Fash and be able to control desperate over-dramatic tranny-humans at the touch of my bony stiff hand. New Camera!

AH! So I bought a new camera mostly for 789 but also so that my videos could be better quality! I got the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG10...It is srsly amazing for what it costs. To see the 720p HD it captures check out my latest video!


I had to convert the file to be able to import it into windows movie maker so the quality isn't as good as it SHOULD be...but as soon as I get new software it should be better...yay!!!!

I highly recommend this camera to anyone looking for an inexpensive yet well-rounded device. It was only $200 and is supposedly a 10 MP camera as well...however I found that the pictures that it captures are not as good as my mom's canon 10 MP digital camera...this does not really bother me because I bought the camera for its HD capabilities...

Here is the run-down of what I think are some positive and negative things about the cam...

Positive:
- video quality
- physical design
- price
- ability to take pictures while filming
- low-light capturing is pretty good
Negative:
- battery life (about 70 minutes of filming)
- menu is somewhat annoying to navigate when you need to change settings
- white balance goes crazy sometimes

HEY!!! I am part of a new collab channel if you were not aware! It just started a few days ago and not all the members have been revealed yet! The channel is called ImpulsEtc due to the fact that we post random videos at random times!! This channel is not like all the others where the members post daily videos. I find that predictable collab channels of that form eventually cause viewers to lose interest. This is why we decided that we should not declare certain days for certain members.

There are 3 different flavors and numerous toppings including raspberries, strawberries, fruity pebbles, almonds, and pineapple...just to name a few. I prefer Pinkberry because despite popular belief I am allergic to nuts. You say "WTF does that have to do with anything?!" Well, other frozen yogurt places have peanut flavored yogurts and more toppings that would KILL me. Hence, I keep my skinny, unhealthy, frail body far away from those places...and no, I'm not Lindsay Lohan.
They also have a kick-ass jingle song that basically says ice cream is for FATASSES... Go check out their site!!

Foliage and a video WTF

HEY!!!!

I just went for a walk to get away from studying and ended up taking some crappy pictures for you guys!! I also made a quick update vid on mallowtalks so make sure you check that out!



I am NOT a photographer nor do I try to be one. But I went out set my camera on the "foliage" setting so everything looks greener and i took some pics. I used the flash because it makes a cool effect :) I'm such a loser...

I was thinking about blogging on here again since you can link the blogger account to sooo many other things. I really don't know how often I will blog, but whenever I have something on my mind and don't feel like making a video I might post it over here!

ps...it's 4:20 am and all that is on TV are infomercials...now don't get me wrong, I LOVE infomercials...but sometimes I just need me some late night Tyra or Reruns on Oxygen!! ugh!!
